Luise hails from southern New England but calls Walpole home.  She has traveled, worked and lived in Maine for more than 25 years, starting on the Pemaquid peninsula and later Somerset County.  When her children were young she had the opportunity to visit many parts of the state because of the kids competitive swimming meets.  She looks forward to learning the ins and outs of the Boothbay Region and having real local knowledge to pass along to visitors.

Luise has a certificate of Tailoring from F.I.T. in New York and is an avid creator and crafts person.  She enjoys getting her hands dirty in her garden and is currently working on having her butterfly garden certified as a Monarch Weigh Station.

Luise is excited about the prospect of having the Boothbay Harbor Region become a year round destination and looks forward to working closely with the Chamber members to achieve this goal.
