7263224-(1).pngLocally:  The chamber works with the Board of Selectmen and town managers from each of the towns in our region on initiatives that promote economic development including public restrooms, water, parking, health care and other issues including becoming a “Certified Business Friendly” region.

Regionally:  The chamber is working with Mobilize Midcoast Maine which is a local leadership driven initiative that maps regional assets and industry cluster value chains which will become the foundation for a statewide Community and Economic Development strategy.  The chamber is also a member of Midcoast Chamber Council (MC3) which promotes the region with an information hotline, SeeLife! MidCoast Guide, a website, Facebook page, Bi-weekly blogs, tweets, print ads, posters, information kiosks and displays. 

Statewide:  The chamber works with the Maine Sports Commission whose primary goal is to strengthen efforts to attract national and regional sporting events.  The chamber also works with the Governor’s office, the Maine Office of Tourism, CruiseMaine and other entities to promote the region.
